There is a question that I am often asked: “Why did you write your books?” I guess I wrote them because they represent one of my favorite real-life human stories. I love to hear about ordinary, everyday people turning to God as the source for their survival and strength. I also like a story that ends with good triumphing over evil. I also like to see people taking their faith to the next level and putting it on display as a testimony for others to see what God has done for them. Does that sound kind of preachy? I hope not. You see I desire to be one of those people. I want others to see what great things Christ has done in my life. I assure you I am nothing without Him. So, I wrote the story I love to hear.
